craft hope

I think I must subscribe to almost 100 blogs, almost all of them crafty in one way or another....yesterday or the day before I noticed a posting about Craft Hope and I clicked away, I hope you do too. I am going to make a quilt for a baby in India, for a baby that would not normally have a blanket to be swaddled in, can you imagine?
I am done having babies, no more for me...but I love babies and I can't wait to get started on this little number. The thing I love about this...I have so much fabric and batting in my stash this will cost me NOTHING but the postage to mail it off but what do I love MOST about this? The thought of a little boy or girl having a blanket wrapped all around them, some comfort, some warmth from this momma that will probably never know them or see them...once a momma always a momma......

  2. Thank you too! I have seen info before about Craft Hope and it is next on my list of things to get involved in. It's truly what crafting is all about.

  3. Thanks so much for posting this, Kristine. I'd forgotten that I wanted to write something up on my Spokesman-Review blog about craftivism. This was a good reminder for that, and for moving one of those projects up my crafty to-do list.
